White Mountain” is a musical project, founded in 2013 by Hamburg based multi-instrumentalist, engineer and producer Mirko Ertmer.His vision was to create a unique musical project that includes various styles of music as well as different artist and friends. The music of “White Mountain” combines rock, film score, progressive and metal elements in composition with synths also as ambient, drone and experimental influences. All these musical impulses ignore genre boundaries and create a singular sound experience.In December 2017, the time has come to present his debut album “The Delta Sessions”. These 15 tracks we're the result of four years full of creativity, blood, sweat and tears, united in one modern hybrid soundtrack for the 21st century.In August 2022 the new record "Aviators & Fighters" was released. This album is a concept album and include 100% instrumental music mixed together with voice samples and represent the further development of the White Mountain sound with new timbres, without losing its roots. Dedicated to all airman and airwoman, Mirko Ertmer combined his two big passions in this album: Aviation and Music.In december 2024, a 4-track EP was released called "Unused Songs and Covers Pt.1" including two new songs called "Scope" and "Your Breed", respresenting score, soundtrack, metal and dubstep elements which have been part of the sound of White Mountain since the beginning. In addition, two cover tracks created back in 2016 were included to this EP.
